Area of Research

My primary research goals are to explore the pathophysiologic mechanisms, develop novel immunodiagnostics, and identify new treatment modalities for immune-mediated hematologic diseases of erythrocytes and platelets.  I am additionally interested in investigating 1) the role of immunothrombosis in various veterinary diseases and 2) the oncogenesis of select neoplasia in companion animals.
