Area of Research
- Pancreatic cancer is the most deadly disease in human malignancies. Dr. Hwang is interested in how epigenetic alterations of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes promote pancreatic cancer progression and metastasis, using genetically engineered mouse and pancreatic organoid models.
