Area of Research

• Our research focuses on the molecular mechanisms that direct the development of the brain with particular emphasis on the cues guiding migration, differentiation, and connectivity of cerebral cortical neurons. Our studies take advantage of genetic and environmental models and apply in vivo and in vitro methods to investigate neurodevelopmental dysregulations with relevance to human health.
